Looking Glass with FluorRender Demo - only available thru November!
Dear Users,
We are ecstatic to have the opportunity to demo Looking Glass's Hololuminescent Display for 3-dimensional microscopy data visualization in FluoRender, and want to invite our Users to take advantage of this sensational technology while we have it at our Core for a limited time!
After Looking Glass's 2022 debut of of the largest holographic display in the world, Forbes magazine designated their technology as "the next big media format." Looking Glass's latest technology projects dozens of perspectives of 3D content simultaneously at ~60 frames/second to "make scalable holographic illusion with volume of depth familiar to the real world."
Within our Cell Imaging Core, we are showcasing Looking Glass's display in tandem with FluorRender, an interactive rendering tool that combines the rendering of multi-channel volume data and polygon mesh data, allowing a larger number of volume channels to be directly visualized in 3D. We invite researchers to come check out this revolutionary tool while it's here for a limited time in the Cell Imaging Core in HSC (building 585) at the Workstation in Room 60. We will only have this available through November 2025, so book your time at the Workstation now to further explore how this exciting technology and how it can benefit your research!
We look forward to sharing more upcoming opportunities with our Users.
Thank you,
Cell Imaging Core Team
